APFT Berhad Listed On The Main Board Of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad

APFT is now a public listed company. The Chairman Dato’ Faruk initiated the listing when he hit the gong at 10 am on Friday, 18th March 2011. Twenty million shares of APFT were listed at 50 cents a share and they were over-subscribed by 12.09 times. The listing was managed by Bank Islam Malaysia. APFT is the first Flight Academy to be listed on Bursa Malaysia.

Mas-Mara-APFT Pact To Assist Aspiring Pilots

Cadet pilots from Asia Pacific Flight Training (APFT) will have, unlike other cadet pilots, the advantage of obtaining an academic diploma, in addition to pilot licenses on completion of their course.

A Diploma In Aviation (Pilot Training)
APFT is the only Flying Academy in Malaysia that offers a course of study for the Diploma in Aviation (Pilot Training). APFT combines the license flight training course with the approved diploma subjects for the aviation diploma course. This program is approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) - ref. no. KN8739.

The Job Market
The Diploma in Aviation offered by APFT prepares the students not only to become commercial pilots but also to go into organizations related to the aviation industry.

The Edge

ICAO Aviation English Test

It is a licensing requirements that Airline Pilots and Air Traffic Controllers all over the world must demonstrate a proficiency of minimum level 4 in ICAO aviation English.

Asia Pacific Flight Training (APFT) is currently the only centre in Malaysia that offers the Aviation English Test that is ICAO compliant.

APFT uses the Jeppesen Aviation English Test, which is designed to assess the candidate's ability to understand and use the ICAO phraseologies as well as common English. The test structure is composed of 8 parts, conducted within 45 minutes.

Who Should Attend

Airlines staff transferring into the AOC
New hires assigned to the AOC
Current members of the AOC who wish to increase their knowledge, effectiveness and productivity
Flight crew members who wish to gain a better understanding of the services and responsibilities given to flight operations officers.

What You Gain

Graduates receive an ICAO Training Manual for Flight Operations Officers; a comprehensive package of training and reference materials; charts, maps, and navigational information; a Jeppesen Academy Organizer; and a graduation certificate from Jeppesen Academy and Malaysia Airlines Academy.

Flight Operations Management Level 2

Who Should Attend

AOC staff who wish to advance to the position of a Flight Operations Officer
Individuals and new hires who wish to obtain advanced education, traning and a DCA Malaysia Dispatcher License.

What You Gain
