MAS-Mara Pact To Assist Aspiring Pilots

nst-june-20,-2008--mas-mara-pact-to-assist-aspiring-pilots.jpgMALAYSIA Airlines (MAS) has formed an alliance with Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara) to provide financial assistance to aspiring pilots.

Entreprene and Cooperative Development Minister Datuk Noh Omar said each student can apply for a RM200,000 loan for three years and are required to pay back the agency once they are fully employed at any airline.

"This scheme helps financially tight students as well as churn good quality pilots who can work at any airline company in the world and make Malaysia proud," Noh told reporters in Selangor yesterday after awarding 46 graduate pilots their "wings".
