Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating (CPL/IR) and Frozen Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL) Course
The CPL/IR is the basic licence required for commercial flying. It is the first step towards becoming a Professional Pilot with an airline.
Minimum Entry Requirements
- Minimum age of eighteen (18) years.
- Successful completion of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia with five (5) credits with a credit in English, Mathematics and any one of the Science subjects OR at least two GCSE A Levels subjects OR its equivalent for overseas cadet pilots.

- Pass medical examination (Class I) by a DCA approved medical practitioner. Cadet pilots are advised to contact DCA for an up-to-date list of such medical practitioners or they may browse through our online FAQ for the same; and
- Adequate competency in the English language.
Course Duration
The course consists of a minimum of sixty (60) weeks and includes:
